In June this year I wrote about the question above, waiting for some answers and I got two. Since then my blog grew and I feel good about it. I don’t ask anymore why we blog because I suppose the reasons for everyone are different. For me, I can sum up: (…)
I like to write, I always did but I never had the trust to keep on writing serious. But now, I have found a forum to interact with myself as well as with the www. It is interesting to see how the writing grows and how many different ideas are evoked by small food for thought. Everybody who discovers my page, can find something – good or bad – and I know that at least my closest friends can read my blog and the recently added small German stories. And I even can see a small history of my writing and that’s the best. I never thought to keep up writing but my interests generates more and more and I can follow my own tracks. It became somehow to an official diary and I can see that it is possible to write in a second language.
One one hand, blogging gives me the chance to write whenever I want to and wherever I’m. I can write in a Cafe, I can write at home, in the library, in the bedroom, in the park and actually wherever I can find a access to the www. And one the other hand, blogging also allows me to deal with my thoughts and ideas and how to express them in another language.
And last but not least I want to thank “wordpress” for this free opportunity to create something special even if this is only for a small group of eyes. Blogging could be a new idea of creating – maybe – art in the first steps. It allows to go public and it gives the chances to interact with the whole world. And furthermore it gives us the chance to be important in some ways. I mean it offers the possibility to be a part of this fast growing globalized world…
… but in the same way, I have to mention, it excludes all other people who are not able to have our western standards.
